Web Application/Systems Developer
The developer will act as the project lead and will be responsible for architecture and planning as well as the actual development of the system. They will work directly with upper management and work in tandem with other in-house systems developers for the planning and execution of the project.
The ideal candidate will be experienced with front end development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, UI), database systems (MySQL/NoSQL), and back end development (PHP/Perl/Python/Ruby).
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience with end-to-end systems development
- Expert proficiency with PHP and/or other web development languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Database proficiency and experience with MySQL and/or NoSQL
- High level experience with front end implementations using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
- Experienced with graphics and UI/UX
- Experience working in Unix/Linux systems, admin experience a plus
- Credit/financial services industry experience or knowledge a plus but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
- Self-motivated to work and excel in independently in individual, team, or leadership positions
- Fast learner and resourceful, able to work with minimal training and non-technical design/implementation input and requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or related field
Work Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience with end-to-end systems development
