Recruiter: Sales and Operations

The Cardiff People Services (CPS) team focuses on providing an amazing experience to past, present and future Cardiffians. As a member of our world-class recruiting team, you'll be charged with finding unique candidates who bring an entrepreneurial spirit, a sense of scrappiness and a diversity of thought to all that they do. You will be responsible for guiding candidates through our hiring process and introducing them to the departments that they will call home! CPS works to fill positions in all departments for all our organizations including Sales, Operations, Credit, Funding, Renewals, Portfolio Management, Marketing, Finance and Administration.
You are driven, eager and able to use your creative skills to develop lasting relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You're also comfortable with numbers and can draw insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter, friendlier and more efficient.
Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with candidates, understanding their needs and helping them find a fit at Cardiff
- Keep candidates continually informed with quality communications throughout the hiring process
- Solve problems and produce solutions by collecting and analyzing data, identifying alternatives when circumstances change and seeking out additional responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of work experience in recruiting, sales or client service role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience closing candidates and negotiating compensation packages, particularly for inside sales roles
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands
- Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships
- Exposure to HR processes, such as interviewing and candidate evaluation
- Track record of demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity and personal accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy
